MACOMB/MOLINE, IL — The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will consider an increase in all costs (tuition, fees and room and board) for new students entering the University in Fall 2009 at the Friday, June 5 meeting at the WIU-Quad Cities 60th Street Campus.
The WIU Board will begin at 8 a.m. with a scheduled executive session in accordance with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act. The open meeting will begin at approximately
9 a.m., following the executive session.
In addition, the board will consider an increase in student health insurance fees. Western’s board will also review positive tenure recommendations for 29 faculty members; a preliminary spending plan for FY10; the annual performance assessment report for President Al Goldfarb; two honorary doctorate degree recommendations; and will elect officers for the 2009-2010 year.
