MACOMB, IL — The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will conduct a board retreat starting at 8:30 a.m. Friday, July 10 at WIU’s Horn Field Campus, 985 China Rd, Macomb.
Topics to be covered include the mission and vision of the University; preparing for accreditation; planning for a leadership transition; trustee roles and responsibilities; and areas for focus in the next year. The retreat is scheduled to adjourn at 4 p.m.
Boards of Trustees meetings are open to the public in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act. No action items are on the Board’s retreat agenda. The next regular Board meeting will be held Friday, Oct. 16 on Western’s Macomb campus.
