Bayliss-Henninger Annual Mud Volleyball Tourney Aug. 29 & 30
MACOMB, IL — Get down and dirty for a good cause this weekend at Western Illinois University’s eighth annual mud volleyball tournament 8 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 and Sunday, Aug. 30. Sponsored by Bayliss and Henninger halls, the two-day fundraiser will be held at the North Quad mud volleyball courts (east of the tennis courts near Bayliss and Henninger halls) and has become a staple in WIU’s opening week activities.
According to Allen Hood, chair of the mud volleyball planning committee, this year’s goal is to raise more than $4,000 to donate to the Macomb Fire Dept. to help the department purchase necessary equipment.
Cost per team is $20 and registration forms are due to Bayliss Hall by noon Thursday,
Aug. 27.
